Nothing leaves the firm until someone here has signed off.
Open a matter, file the documents on it, and require a colleague to approve before a client is asked to accept.
The guide walks through every screen. If a numbered step does not match, then request a walkthrough.
Solo is free. One person, one matter. No card.
How a document moves through the firm
- 1
Open the matter
Name the case and the client. Documents filed after this stay on that matter.
- 2
File the document
Upload the contract, letter, or agreement onto the matter it belongs to.
Approve or send it back
A colleague releases the document or rejects it. The decision keeps their name and the time.
Approved
The document continues to the client.
Rejected
The document stays on the matter.
- 4
Ask the client to accept
The client opens a link and types their name. The acceptance is added to the activity report.
What the firm can point to later
- The matter
- The case name and the client sit beside every document, so a file is never loose.
- The decision
- Pending, approved, and rejected stay visible. A document does not leave while it is still pending.
- The acceptance
- The client’s typed name and the time are stored with the document they accepted.
- The report
- The activity report lists who opened the matter, who approved, and who accepted, in order.
Pricing
Solo stays free for one person and one matter. A paid plan is for a second person, or more than one open matter. Canceling a paid plan returns the firm to Solo and leaves the files in place.
